This is an absolutely magnificent ring that's sure to draw attention whenever it's worn. The ring face has a classic sand cast floral motif, with the outer edges hand stamped. The shank is both wide and heavy gage, and has hand stamped designs across it. The bright green turquoise cabochon is set in a hand-formed castellated bezel and surrounded with silver rope.
It would also make a fantastic scarf slide! (See photos!)
The ring is a size 8.
The band is 3/8" wide.
The ring face is a huge 2 5/8" in diameter, and with the stone is about 1/4" deep.
The turquoise stone is about 5/8" by 1/2". The artist indicated that this stone was sourced from the Carico Lake Mine in northern Nevada.
It weighs an incredible 50 g.
The artist's hallmark is "D>>" with another ">" after "Sterling", indicating up-and-coming Navajo artisan Daniel John. This ring is new and was sourced directly from the artist.
