VTG Sterling Silver Overlay Watch Tips Heavy Gage Kokopelli Hopi Guild Artist
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
Here's a magnificent set of sterling silver watch tips from the famed Hopi Guild. A classic silver overlay technique was used to create the corn and kokopelli figures. The silver is heavy gage and curved to comfortably fit your wrist.
The tips are 1 5/8" long and 1 1/4" wide.
The connector to the time piece is 11/16" wide, and the connector to the watch band is 9/16" wide.
Together, they weigh a significant 31.5 g.
Two hallmarks can be seen. The first is a sunface figure representing the Hopi Silver Craft Guild. The second is labeled an "antelope rattle" which is used by Hopi silversmith Floyd Namingha Lomakuyvaya (active since the 1970s).
