Here's a tremendous vintage ring with a GREAT design. On a darkened (oxidized) base, the artist set a green turquoise stone and a coral cabochon. Curved and curled flat wire is appliqued in an attractive almost butterfly design. What looks like silver rope (twisted wire) along the outer edges is actually a tight series of silver dots - great craftsmanship.
The ring has a triple shank, with the middle shank being silver rope.
The ring is a size 7.5.
The shank is a little wider than 1/8".
The ring face is 3/4" by 1 1/2", and about 1/4" deep.
The turquoise stone is 1/4" by 7/16".
It weighs 10.1 g.
